Professional Office Wall ArtTensile Field

Professional Office

Gallery-wrapped, 0.75" pine bars, sawtooth hanger mounted.

Tensile Field follows a fan of fine dark lines as they bend around a white, saddle-shaped form. A single vivid red strand stands out among the graphite tones, and small highlights make the curves easy to trace. The portrait composition draws the lines upward from a low anchor. The landscape variation carries them across the image toward a larger white form on the right. Both keep a substantial area of shadow around the structure. It is an abstract office design with intricate detail up close and a clear directional shape from farther away.

Engineering, architecture and design practices, where load and curve are the daily vocabulary. The single red strand in a field of grey is the detail people lean in to find. 30x40 behind a desk, 36x48 in a conference room.
