Where should the art hang in a counselling room?
On the wall the client faces, not the one behind them. They will look away from you several times in a session and the art is where they land. Put it at seated eye level rather than high, and keep the wall behind your own chair plain.
What size works in a small therapy room?
Counselling rooms are usually small and the art sits close, so 18x24 or 24x36 is normally right. A 30x40 works on the long wall of a larger room. Measure from the client chair rather than from the doorway.
Does it arrive ready to hang?
